  • Of the four types of games (balance games, yoga, strengthening exercises, and aerobic games), I enjoy the aerobic games the most, although for me, the Wii Fit is also a good introduction to yoga, which I have been meaning to try but hesitant to take a class
  • I think for us, this is the main advantage of the Wii Fit - it will give us more confidence to actually try different workouts and stuff
  • There are a few weaknesses, though - you can only record activities in your activity log on the day of, the games are short and once complete you have to click several things to move to your next activity choice, and the system in general seems to be entirely focused on your weight, which in my opinion wastes a perfectly good opportunity to teach kids about the importance of being fit as opposed to thin

We got a Wii Fit basically as soon as we got a Wii and it has been a great addition to our “toys”. We had played it a few times at other people’s houses, and that is why we wanted one of our own.

Another advantage to the Wii Fit is that it makes it easy to regularly ...

The games are well done, and there are lots of nice details. It seems like a lot of thought went into making this game overall. I would like to be able to set up a mini workout, so that I could choose say 3 activities and have them flow one into the next. But other than that, I am entirely satisfied with this purchase. I look forward to more Wii games being made for the balance board.
