She’s The One stars Ed Burns, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Anniston, and John Mahoney. Here is an example of a simple story that cannot be classified neither good nor bad.

Two brothers, along with their father, face the challenges of love.

So what! Aside from the fine job of acting by Burns, the rest

of the cast just coasted through their roles.

One technique that was original to the film was the use of one on one conversations that passed on a discussion that differed with each pairing.

For example, sister to sister “Your husband is Gay”; sister to brother in law “My husband is in a sexual low”, brother ...

      • in law to father “My brother is not in love with his wife”; and finally father to son ” Are you Gay?”.

The use of the family fishing trip with the father and two sons is a nice idea to hear their opinions on life, but poorly developed and rather terse.

        I did like the

idea of brotherly love even in the face of hurt feelings, but was it really believable? I think not.

The movie also moved very slow and I almost fell asleep watching it.

The characters were well defined and I suppose that this is a good thing.

In summary, it was funny in a dry humor way, but not very memorable.
