  • Traditionally to get to Kanchanaburi from bangkok, there only by the bus which cost you 95 baht and send you to its bus station,or by taxi which you pay awfully huge amount of money to get you there as well as the train which you end up at the train station, but none will drop you at the door step of the spot you want in Kanchanaburi

I personally been taking this minibus service whenever i travel from bangkok to

K town. For the mere price of 120 baht one way, I could comfortably relax and enjoy the aircon in the mini bus, its much faster than the above mentioned services and best of all i was able to drop at the door step of any hotel in K town i want.

Usually for the benefit of those who dont speak thai well, simply just tell the taix driver or tuk tuk driver to go to Royal Hotel at Khaosan,

      • and they will know where is it already. Once reach the hotel, walk a bit further down to the right side of the main entrance, you will find alot of tables, stalls as well as mini bus services providing there, you simply find one which show the sign ‘ Kanchanaburi’, pay them 120 baht and remember to get the stamping card from them, because they have this promotion going on that if you used their service for twelve times, on
the thirteenth time it will be free. The people are very kind enough to help me carry my bags and load on to the mini bus, and i was kindly reminded and informed when the time arrives for the mini bus to leave the place.

However please keep in mind that the latest last mini bus that leave Bangkok is at 1900.
