This restaurant belongs to the famous Dasapalla Group. If you want to taste authentic Andhra food, this is the place. We were strongly recommenced this Restaurant when we shifted to Visakhapatnam. We found the food here quite tasty. We had a wide choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian food items on the menu. For vegetarians, there was a variety of daals, palak paneer, paneer masala, potato and brinjal curries, ladies fingers, etc. For non vegetarians, chicken and mutton masala, egg curry

and a variety of fish curries are available. The place has very good choice of sea food blended with Andhra masala (spices). Normally Andhra food is famous for its hot spices including red chillies. There is also a choice of Thaali where you will be served a number of dishes, sambar and rasam with rice and chapattis with unlimited servings. But order a Thaali only if you are really hungry. There is also a choice of Chinese Food available.

      We ...

      • thoroughly enjoyed the crispy corns and the chicken lollipop which we ordered as starters. We ordered chicken biryani, pomfret fry and tavva vanjaram and some naans and rotis as the main meal. The chicken biryani was more than enough for a couple of people. There was a large portion left over and the staff promptly told us that it can be packed and given to us. We accepted the suggestion and had it for our break fast the next day.
We didn’t have a wide choice for desserts, excepting for some ice cream, fruit salad and sweets.

The staff was polite and was there with all smiles to serve us. The service was very prompt. There is a separate large room for families and big groups. They brought us a Customer Feedback Form at the end of the dinner. They also brought Paan (betel leaves) at the end.

All this costed us just about Rs 700/-. Very reasonable, I should say.

    Galega says :

    hi Sampath,

As far as I know there is nothing like KAMAT CHCIKEN FRY PIECE. Are you asking for chicken biryani recipe. This is one of the specialty of Masala Restaurant Vishakhapatnam.

If you are looking for chicken biryani recipe, then just look for Hyderabadi biryani. That is what they serve. Here is a page showing step by step to prepare hyderabadi chicken biryani .
