We have a Panasonic Digital Cordless Phone in our house and I think its a great product to have around the house. First of all its cordless so you’re free to use it anywhere around the house.

And its really user friendly, I didn’t even have to read the manual.

      The buttons and

keypads are well-placed that you can easily dial a number even with one hand.

And it can store up to 50 names and numbers which contributes to its ease of use because when you have stored a number on your phone, all it takes is to press a single button and that’s it.

      • It also has a lighted LCD display which makes it easy to view the number you’re calling so there’s less mistakes in dialing.

It even stores the numbers that you dialed which is great because if you decide to dial it again, just press a button and you’re done.

        It is also sleek

and stylish with its antenna-less design and the cradle/charger is so small that its unobtrusive.

There’s one thing I don’t like about it though, you have to keep it charged.

If there suddenly is a power outtage then you cannot use it even if the phone is fully charged.

SO you still have to have a back-up phone.

can you please send the manual for this phone….there is some paper in the box with the phone…but it does not tell me how to operate the machine. i need the caller-id of all the incoming calls. and the paper just tells me about the battery and how to take care of it. please urgently let me know how to get the caller-id displayed on this machine. thanks.
    John says :

Look at the earlier question above. There’s a link to the manual.
    Galega says :

Previously, the operator used to block this service and was given to customer only on request. There is no problem now. Just connect the cordless phone and start using it. The caller ID will work without any problem.

can you pls send me the manual for this phone as i lost it and need the maual urgently
    John says :

Panasonic does not have an online version of the manual, but here’s a link to download it from a third party website:

How can I change from pulse to tone mode?
    Jules Li says :

On the back of the phone you should see a phone that says “pulse-tone”. You can change the tone mode here.
    Galega says :

First of all you need to select the preferred tone or pulse from the bottom of the cordless phone. Now, lift the handset and dial familiar number.
f the call is successful, the unit is connected to a tone exchange. leave the selector`TONE’.
If the call is not successful, the unit is connected to a pulse exchange. Switch the selector to`PULSE’.
After leave the selector`PULSE’, try to lift the handset, dial the familiar number and check that the call is successful or not.
    Mrs Bachal says :

Have neither received the manual for the cordless phone nor any answer to my query. If am not mistaken i did mention that it was urgent. If you are not in a position to send the manual, atleast let me know, will stop waiting for a response from you. thanks.
    John says :

Mrs Bachal, this is not Panasonic’s website so there is no guarantee that they will see you’re response. However, there is a link to the manual above.
    Galega says :

The manual can be accessed from the official website of Panasonic. If you are not getting the caller ID of the incoming calls, then you may want to connect to your telephone operator. Majority of them are providing them only on getting request from the customers.
    charbel says :

the cordless phone don`t see the base.
    John says :

Charbel, if it’s not communicating with the base there’s possible interference. Try moving the base to a different location. Cell phones, antennas and other devices can cause interference.
    Galega says :

Check that both ends of the supplied line cord are connected securely. Check that the power is on and that you have the power adaptor correctly plugged into a known working mains socket and also to the telephone base unit. Switch the mains power off, wait five seconds and then turn it on again. If there is still no base, then you may have to call the operator. Also, please ensure that there is nothing wrong with your cordless phone.
    pinsmi says :

Please suggest the phone setting to get caller ID. Reagrds Pinsmi
    John says :

The caller ID works automatically. There’s no settings to enable/disable. You must be subscribed to Caller ID services from your phone provider. If you have DSL, this can also cause the caller ID to not display, if you’re not using a filter.
    Galega says :

First press menu. Then, enter the direct program code - 162. Now, you will find a short scroll down menu with on and off. Select ON. Select SAVE. Now, your phone should start showing caller ID.

Please note that I have assumed that your operator is already providing caller ID services to you (now a days, it is automatic and free of cost).
    grl2475 says :

i`m sorry i could`t send you a manual for this product. i just write reviews. you probably would have to get one from the manufacturer or you could try searching the web. thanks for your question though…
    bishoy says :

    caller id doesn`t work?
    John says :

Confirm that you have caller ID from your phone provider. The caller ID actually works automatically. However, it may be disabled if you have DSL services installed without a filter.
    Galega says :

If you are not getting the caller ID of the incoming calls, then you may want to connect to your telephone operator. Majority of them are providing them only on getting request from the customers.

Actually, caller ID works with this cordless phone automatically. It won’t work, if your operator is not providing this facility on your number.
    eranda says :

when break down the electricity connection, i cant use my phone…even cant receive the calls. but it indicates maximum battery strength on my hand set. is it necessory to have full time electricity connection for function this phone ? if ok the electricity connection, phone is normal and can be used. if droped electricity connection….again drop the call and not receive the calls…..please describe the reason ?
    John says :

It seems like you’re referring to the base. It is essential to have the base plugged into the wall. The phone is cordless, but it still has to communicate with the base.
    Galega says :

The base needs to be connected with the socket. That’s it. The battery of this cordless phone should be charged. There isn’t any need for any continuous electricity connection. You need to set it up again.
