      To make this really scrumptious meatloaf, you’re going to need a few things:

      3-4 lbs of lean ground beef 1 small yellow onion 1/4 cup minced garlic 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper 1/4 cup shredded parmagiano/asiago cheese 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs red wine vinegar (or Worcestershire sauce) 1 jar chunky veggie tomato sauce (the more gourmet the better) 1 egg 3 tablespoons all-purpose

      seasoning 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

      The first thing you’ll want to do is season and mix the ground beef. Do so, with the all purpose seasonings. Then you add the chopped onions and green pepper. Mix thoroughly with hands, and then add the minced garlic.

      Mixing the garlic and veggies into the meat will help to release the herbs’ natural flavors along with the fresh vegetables.

      • After this mixture has been blended, sprinkle the Italian bread crumbs in. Then add the egg. You’ll want to make sure the egg is completely blended with the bread crumbs and meat so that the combination doesn’t “separate” while cooking. The egg will help the bread crumbs congeal along with the meat. Last but not least, mix in your cheeses into the meatloaf.
        Shape with your hands and place in a stick-free pan.

        Bake in the oven at around 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or so. Remove the meatloaf and then pour the tomato sauce on top. Sprinkle the top liberally with mozzarella cheese and more bread crumbs. Continue to back until meat has cooked all the way through the center of the loaf.

        Serve with garlic-dill mashed potatoes, a big leafy salad, and you’re good to go! Enjoy!
