  • One thing that we noticed that we thought was excellent was the fact that some of the restaurants and food outlets catered for people with different dietary requirements such as gluten free
  • We had food from a few of the outlets over the two days we were there and we all were very impressed not only which the choice of food but also the quality of it
  • Although even if it wasn't school holidays I would still recommend the two days because you can relax more and take you time walking round and watch a couple of shows if you wanted to
  • My particular favourite rides are the water rides of which there are four at Lego land and we went on all of them
  • Normally the room in the hotel would cost three hundred pound alone

I took my family away for a couple of days to Lego land down in Windsor. We booked a package deal from the internet that got us a couple of nights in a hotel and two day pass for the park.

We arrived at the park at nine thirty on the morning and parked up in one of there car parks, all the car parks were only a five minute walk from the main entrance.

As we had pre booked we already had our tickets printed and went straight through to the turnstiles and into the park. Even though the park doesn’t officially open till ten o’clock the park was already packed. The shops were already open and it is only the two main entrances down to the rides that were closed. At ten these were open and everyone rushed down for the rides.

There is a great selection of rides to suit all ages. From the large roller coasters to the small train. Our nine month old didn’t go on any rides but he was happy just watching and taking it all in.

There were a couple of rides he could have gone on but the queues were quite long for those.

There are plenty of toilet and baby changing facilities dotted around the park, and as the park is zoned think there is a bout one or two blocks in each zone. There are also plenty of places to eat catering for all ages with all types of food. One thing that we noticed that we thought was excellent was the fact that some of the restaurants and food outlets catered for people with different dietary requirements such as gluten free. We had food from a few of the outlets over the two days we were there and we all were very impressed not only which the choice of food but also the quality of it. We had everything from a breakfast when we first arrived to a stuffed jacket potato and a baguette for lunch and then a proper meal on the last day before we drove home.

As well as loads of rides to go on about thirty five, there is also a Lego ...

      • model village to take a walk around which is constructed out of about three million bricks. By the end of the two days we had been on most of the rides that the had, and I would say that because it was school holidays you do need two days because you spend a lot of time queuing up. Although even if it wasn’t school holidays I would still recommend the two days because you can relax more and take you time walking round and watch a couple of shows if you wanted to. My particular favourite rides are the water rides of which there are four at Lego land and we went on all of them. Kurt’s particular favourite was the Viking water rapids, where he got squirted in the face with water.

One the down side there were very long queues but this is to be expected and on some of the rides they have put things to do to keeps the kids amused such as areas to build Lego in. Another down point was that there were still people going around

smoking despite it being a no smoking park except in designated area’s of which here were seven so there was really no need to smoke in other areas. The prices in the shops for souvenirs and sweets are also very expensive but other than that we couldn’t fault the park.

Overall I would really recommend that any family spend a couple of days down at Lego Land Windsor there is so much to do it is a great couple of days out. I was sceptical about going two days running but I’m glad we did as we would have missed so much if we hadn’t and the deals you can get are really good. It old costs a family of four one hundred and fifty pound for a night in a five star hotel and two day passes to the park. Normally the room in the hotel would cost three hundred pound alone. The deals are great so take advantage of them we will do as again very soon as we all loved it and Kurt keeps asking when we are going back.
