  • A better movie about boxing you will never find, this is one of the all time greats and still it shines bright every time it is aired

A small town debt collector is placed in the boxing ring alongside the undefeated heavyweight champion of the world Apollo Creed to fight when the original fighter had to pull out due to an injury. This fight is scheduled for 15 rounds and Rocky aims to go the distance to prove that he isn’t just

some wannabe bum fighter from the neighborhood.

At first, Apollo wasn’t taking Rocky seriously during the fight as he was just dancing around the ring and playing with Rocky, but all that changed when he got knocked down and thoughts of losing his title to this upstart entered into his mind.

      During the fight lasting ...

      • up to the 15th round, both boxers suffered some real brutal injuries, but that wasn’t enough for them to quit until the final bell, at one point, Rocky couldn’t even see through his own eyes as they were swollen shut.

Apollo wasn’t in any better condition as his ribs were battered like raw meat.

        At

the end of it all, Rocky and Apollo became great friends and training partners.

A better movie about boxing you will never find, this is one of the all time greats and still it shines bright every time it is aired.

The movie that put Sylvester Stallone on the Hollywood map as a serious actor.

        Happy viewing!
