The Phantom is a live action movie made from the pages of the comic strip that used to and still comes in to papers. While the cartoon version was a bit more successful than the comic strip to appeal to the viewers, more particularly the children, the movie failed to make a big impression on the viewers

      in general.

The movie tries too hard to make the phantom character believable and that is one of the contributing factors to me that help to make the movie flop.

That and the fact that the props looked very fake, I mean, at one point when he was going for his guns, you can clearly see that ...

      • the guns where make of runner the way they swiveled around when you pulled them from his hip.

The plot was so very thin, it made the cartoon seem more real.

I am guessing that the budget must have been very small and they just didn’t have the resources to make the kind of film they were

        hoping to make.

But that being said, this movie was a total flop.

I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone, it isn’t worth anyone’s time or effort much less your money.

Just walk past it and look the other way if someone offers this movie to you, yes, it is that bad even to watch on a loan from a friend.
