Helium is a website that you can get paid for writing articles. Basically you write articles on a topic or debate and every time someone finds your article by Google you get paid a cent. I know a cent doesn’t sound like much but it adds up quickly. While you can write on the website you can also rate articles. Which might not sound like too much fun but the more you rate the more your articles get rated. The higher rankings that your article gets the more people will see the article.

Anybody can write and rate articles on helium. All you have to do is sign up and start writing. You can find articles already wrote or begin to write your own article. It’s good to write about things that you have knowledge about or an interest in the topic.

The website is set up great. It’s organized and well put together. When you first go to the website you can see articles and topics that are already there. They are set up in boxes and some articles are displayed, one in each box. At the bottom of the boxes you can either click on articles or write now. If you click on write now it takes you to a page that you can write an article on. If you click

on articles it will show you all of the articles that people have wrote, with the highest ranking first. Or you can just click on the title of the article and it will bring you to the article that is ranked the first.

Naturally the highest ranking article on a topic will make the most because more people will see it. When anyone searches in google for something and it is related to the topic it will bring up the number 1 ranked article.

On the website up at the top there is a search bar, a log in, and a join button. Below that is a red bar. On th red bar are the options to click on what is helium, write, rate, my helium, marketplace, and user guide. What is helium will tell you about the site. Write will take you to a place that you can begin to write articles at. Rate will take you to articles to rate them. My helium will take you to your page and from there you can edit your profile, look at your rankings, and also look at your earnings as well as your articles. Marketplace is a page that will show you different topics that you can write on for money. User guide will show you a page kind of like a frequently ...

On the side of the page there are two boxes, one is highlights and the other is channels. The channels are different topics for articles. They have arts and humanities, autos, business, computers and technology, creative writing, education, entertainment, food and drink, health and fitness, hobbies and games, home and garden, jobs and careers, local guides, parenting and pregnancy, personal finance, pets and animals, politics news and issues, relationships and family, religion, sciences, society and lifestyles, sports, style and beauty, travel and other. So you can see they have a lot of different channels to choose from to write articles. Once you click on a channel it will bring up articles wrote about that general topic. In the same box as the channels it will now bring up sub topics that you can click to find a particular topic. The other box on the left hand side of the website that is highlights have causes and charities, debates, quick start guide, journalism awards, marketplace, pulitzer center, summer reward-athon, writers resources and writing contests.

Other than writing articles and waiting for people to look at your article you can also make money in writing contests and the marketplace. The first ranked article will win the money for these. Debates are usually a question that you either disagree or agree with. On

these you choose whether you are con or pro and then you can write an article or rate on the articles.

The website is mostly white with black writing, the topic headings are blue and some of the links are red and some of the links are blue. I think that this is a great website. It is very well put together, easy on the eyes, easy to understand after a few minutes and the colors match very well on it. Not only the design but the object of the site is very good. It’s the only website that I know about that you can earn from your work done months ago. I have never seen or heard of other websites doing this and I am in quite a few online making money websites.

The minimum payment for the website is $25.00. I haven’t been on the website much so I am still learning and still earning. I haven’t done much there but I have already earned about 9 cents already. Which I think is pretty good considering the fact that I barely did anything on the website. I didn’t think that I was going to do good because I am not that good at writing but a couple of my articles are ranked pretty high. One of them is even ranked at number 2!
