This phone is a cordless phone with two handsets and has caller id. It operates on a 5.8 GHZ frequency that is less likely to interfere with wireless networks. The caller id and and call waiting has the ability to keep the memory of the last 45 callers. The phone book has the ability to keep up to 20 entries.

The display has a green back lit. It also has a voice mail waiting indicator. You can select from different ring tones on this phone. The speed dial has up to 9 entries. When you want to use the redial it calls the last

number. The menu languages come in English, Spanish and French. You can either mount this on the wall or on a desk.

You get two handsets with this phone which is always nice. Especially if you have a lot of people in your house that uses the phone. Each handset comes with a mount/charger. The phone is black and the mounts or chargers are silver. The buttons on the phone are black with yellow writing on them. Only one button is white which is the select button. The off button has off written in red on it. The talk button has green writing on it and has a little picture of a phone.

The main mount or charger has a light that tells you whether or not the phone is in use or if you have any voice mails. It also has a button to find the handset which is also nice in case you loose it. The screen to the found displays the number, the date and the time. It also displays if the battery is charged or not. Overall it is a very nice phone for about $30.00.

The volume buttons are on top near the talk and off buttons. The select button is shaped like ...

a box and has white background with black writing on it. There are a couple of buttons near the bottom of the phone. The secondary phone has a few more buttons than the main one.

The phone tells you the name, number, date and time of incoming calls even when you are already using the phone. My only complaint about the phone is that there is not a answering machine so you have to have voice mail if you want to be able to listen to messages.

The main mount for the phone is kind of big and bulky, the secondary one is a lot

smaller. The lights on the main mount are red. The phone has vtech wrote at the top of them in white.

These phones are nice for the price of them. You can hear clearly on them and you can get good reception on them. If you are looking for a cheap phone and don’t mind not having an answering machine then I suggest them. If you want an answering machine and want a really good phone I would go with another phone. I have always liked panasonic phones and they have worked well. I still think this is a pretty decent phone though, especially for the price.

How do you listen to your voicemails with this phone? there`s no button to push for it to play so how do you get them?

When you get a new voicemail, the base will flash to let you know you received one. You would then use the screen to select the message. You would however need to have voicemail services through your telephone company. This phone does not have an answering machine, so the messages are not stored directly onto the phone.

There is no special button for voice mail. But, there is a BUTTON for the same. Look closely on button marked 1. You will find voicemail sign there. You need to hold it for few seconds. And, it will start broadcasting voicemail. For better control, you can do it through settings. In the settings, scroll down until you find Voicemail. Here, you can enter the voicemail number of your carrier.

There are many ways through which you can access voicemail on this cordless phone. I know three of them. Press button marked 1 and hold it for few seconds. This will make you possible to listen to the last voicemail. You can go to settings and then scroll down to voicemail to listen to voicemails of your choice (if there are more than one).
