‘The break-up’ is a movie directed by Peyton Reed. The actors are Vince and Jenifer. A couple, Gary and Brooke is staying in Chicago. Brooke is working in an art gallery and Gary has got a business in which some of his friends are partners. But the couple’s marital relationship is very weak.

They are always quarreling for one or the other reason. Then they break up with each other.

Most of the movie is spent in quarelling and the break-up. But after their breaking up, they are not happy about it. Gary, especially misses her. Then one fine day, Gary and Brooke happen to meet in ...

      • one of the streets of Chicago. They feel awkward, but talk friendly to each other.

The ending of he movie is abrupt. We do not come to know whether they stay together again or not. And the theme of this film is dry and uninteresting. It has no uniqueness in it. I did not

like this movie much. It is a dry movie. In the movie, one can also see the unending conflicts between couples of the modern world. It just shows the nature of the modern society. But I could not like this movie and therefore, I do not recommend it. I rate it 3 out of 10 points.
