In this episode, Dr. Murdock is trying to wean the five vampires off of blood, but it doesn’t help when the shipment of blood he ordered turns out to be nothing more than placebo blood.

Drew still feels drawn to Sherry, as Merrill harbors her own secret love for Drew and it hurts her more and more to watch him pine over someone he’ll never have. Merrill decides the only way to get over Drew is to

give him what he wants and that is Sherry. She arranges a special meeting in the library after hours for Drew and Sherry.

Meanwhile, Essie and Marty are enjoying their night out on the town; Essie is enjoying the music, while Marty loves his rare burgers.

Back at the school, Karl starts freaking out and attacks Dr. Murdoch for no reason and Murdoch thinks there is more to the situation that meets the eye. He later discovers that ...

      • the blood he ordered was placebo blood and that’s why Karl was acting crazy.

In the library, Sherry and Drew finally meet face to face and there is an instant attraction. Merrill was keeping watch outside, until Malcolm startled her from behind and she has to make up some random story to ease his suspicions.

Dr. Murdoch heads to the bar just in time to see Marty and Essie about to make a snack out of Nick and

tells him that they digested fake blood earlier and handed them so real blood to feed on.

During his connection with Sherry, Drew starts to realize something is wrong and immediately leaves taking Merrill with him.

This episode was interesting because it seemed to be a connection not only with Drew and Sherry, but with Essie and Marty as well. It made me wonder if Essie is falling for Marty’s bad boy charms.
