  • I know some coffee addicts who actually get the boost out of it and immediately discern decaf because it does not have the same effect

Folgers Classic Decaf is naturally decaffeinated coffee, with rich tasty flavor that is almost no different from regular Folgers.

I have no idea how they managed to get the caffeine out of coffee and still have it tasting ...

Exactly how does Folgers naturally decafienate their Classic Decaf?
Galega says :

Folgers doesn’t do it naturally. They soak coffee in a solvent usually methylene chloride or ethyl acetate. Methylene chloride can be used as a paint stripper and a degreaser as well an agent to remove caffeine. The caffeine is then drawn out by the solvent.

I found you while searching to see if anyone besides me thought this coffee isn`t really completely decaffeinated. I am beginning to suspect the Folger`s decaf of keeping me up all night. I was using Via decaf to make iced coffees with milk, went looking for something cheaper and the Folger`s tastes great, you are right about that. But I was taken by your comment about you and your friends getting a boost, I am suspecting it is not really decaf, I wonder if anyone else has thought the same
