      I make the best fish soup well according to my wife anyway, and it is easy to cook and very tasty and healthy too. You can put as much or as little fish in as you like it is down to personal taste.

      All you need for my fish soup is a variety


      of fish for example cambers, prawns, shrimps, lobster, crab, mussels, cockles, cod, bass, haddock or hake there are loads of different fish out there to chose from.

      2 sliced onions 2 large sliced carrots 1 finely chopped celery stalks 3 medium sliced tomatoes 1 glove of crushed garlic Half a cup of olive ...


      • oil 1 bay leaf Finely chopped parsley Juice of one lemon Salt and pepper

        The first job is to wash your chosen fish. Then heat the oil in a large sauce pan and brown the onions and put in the carrots and celery. Then add the tomatoes and some water and let simmer

        for half an hour you can add more water if you think necessary. Then put in the fish, bay leaf, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper and let boil for another twenty minutes. If you wish you can puree the soup, but we often leave it chunky. Then serve it with lemon juice and crusty bread and of course a glass of your favourite wine.
