I was not expecting much going into this movie. The only thing that drew me to it was the lead actor Shia LaBeouf, who I am a big fan of.

I was thoroughly surprised at how entertaining and well made the movie was.

The story is about a teenager, LaBeouf, who gets placed under house arrest.

He begins, out of boredom, to study his neighbor’s habits from his bedroom through a pair of binoculars.

One neighbor in particular, actor David Morse, is more interesting because some of his actions and belongings match that of a serial killer who is on the lose.

At first, LaBeouf thinks its just his imagination playing tricks ...

      • on him from the house arrest, but things are not as they seem, as he finds out.

Some of the twists you can see coming a mile away and many of the characters don’t evolve over the course of the movie.

Also, I felt like the movie had a somewhat weak last half hour.

        I feel

like they set up the movie for a great ending but under delivered.

All of that being said, the movie was only one hour and forty minutes and I would say it would be a lie to say I did not find movie satisfying and entertaining.

Good flick overall, mainly because of the good acting by the Beouf.
