  • Most of the mini-games are fun to play like Bouncing Balls (several balls bounce up and down the screen and you are required to identify the highest or lowest bouncing ball) and calculate (provide as many correct computations as possible before time runs out) while others are completely boring like, well, all the memory games

If I was still studying and didn’t have a cell phone, I would have found the perfect excuse to convince my momma to buy me one. Brain Genius is a pretty good educational handheld game that makes your brain work hard (or am I just dumb) for a few minutes. The game let’s you set up a profile, gives you one daily exercise per day (covering four categories: visual, memory, calculation

and logic), and gives a rating to your performance after the daily exercise is complete.

Each category is composed of four mini-games that offer a decent challenge to the mind. And as if that wasn’t enough, they even included two bonus games: sudoku and kakuro. So Brain Genius contains 18 games in total and that’s a lot. Add to that 3 difficulty settings and you’ve got one complete package.

      Another good feature of ...

      • the game is that it compares your brain rating to geniuses of the past like Leonardo da Vinci and Blaise Pascal. This is not very accurate though because it even said that Albert Einstein would have envied me (Hehehe) but it’s a nice feature and keeps you playing for quite a while.

The graphics and sound are good and work well with the gameplay. Most of the mini-games are fun to play

like Bouncing Balls (several balls bounce up and down the screen and you are required to identify the highest or lowest bouncing ball) and calculate (provide as many correct computations as possible before time runs out) while others are completely boring like, well, all the memory games.

Overall, brain genius provides a lot of fun and is also a good exercise for the brain (no approved therapeutic claims).
