The Executive Inn is reall centrally located. Opp is a smaller town, but it is really not very far away from anything. The Inn has two floors and is very pretty. It has two floors. The outside of the Inn is lovely. The outside of it is paint warm brown beige with a green roof. The outside is landscaped and very manicured. There were low pruned shrubs located all over and then there were several large trees. The lawn was gorgeous, not a weed in it and it was just like a carpet. When you drive on to the property there were globe lights on poles on the driveway. That was really pretty and gave the Inn a quaint feel. The carport was huge. It was very tall; attaching to the roofline of the building. There were grey/white posts which held the carport up. There was a glass entryway which lead into the lobby. There was plenty of parking and the Inn and the property was in very

      good shape.

The lobby was a bit on the small side. It was the lobby and coffee area combined. When you walked in, you see light beige walls with a white ceiling. There was a border at the top of the walls with neutral colors to match the wall. There were enclosed long florescent lights on the ceiling. The floor in the room was light tan tile. The windows were covered with white vertical blinds. The registration desk was to your left as you walk through the door. It was made of some kind of shiny laminate in a tan color with dark brown lined accents. There was one girl behind the desk and while we were there, she looked a bit frazzled. The phones were ringing and there were other people waiting. The lobby was open 24/7 so unless another person was just indisposed I wouldn’t want to be responsible for the front desk!

The seating area for the lobby was all on the tile floor. There were several ...

      • cushioned chairs with deep cranberry red upholstery fabric. The chairs also had complimentary pillows on them which looked really pretty. There was a coffee table with a glass top in front of the chairs. They did lots of decorating with potted plants. Some were real and some were not. With so many windows, he lobby was very bright.

Our room was very pretty. It was a smoker free room. The walls were painted pale peach with a complimentary floral border at the top of the wall. The carpeting was dark blue and was very cushy. The large window was covered with a dark blue pull drape. Under the window was an air conditioner which ran so quiet that you could not even hear it. Our bed was very comfortable. The mattress was a bit soft for my husband, but I slept like a baby. The pillows left something to be desired, but there were more in the chest of drawers. The headboard on the bed was colonial with tall posts.

The wood was in a dark stain. The coverlet on the bed was a conventional hotel coverlet. It was striped in the colors of red, blue and orange with flowers going through it. Over the top of the bed was a wood framed and matted landscape print. In the corner of the room was a small dark round table with two dark wood chairs.

The breakfast area was behind the seating area in the lobby. There was a television which was attached to the wall. The people eating breakfast could easily watch it, but it was behind the people sitting in the cushioned chairs in the lobby. They has a small selection of food for breakfast. There were caffeinated and decaf coffee, tea and assorted juices. They had pastries and some fruit. There were little tables with chairs in this area. The counter was kind of squashed together - not much room.

Although everything was small in the lobby, the rooms were nice. Everything was clean and the price was right.
