Austar TV is by sattelite in Australia. I am from the US so I can say that the television shows here are about one year behind.

I moved here in January 2005 and I was watching TV shows that I seen a year a go at home.

It does have some good movie channels called movie one, movie greats, and they also have showtime, but it is always playing movies from the 80's or 90's.

It also shows the sitcoms from home like Will and Grace, The Drew Carey Show, The Nanny, Frasier, and The Seinfeld Show.

The downfall to that is after one season they start it all over again.

So you are watching the same episodes over and over.

There are very few TV shows that are one Austar from Australia.
