An Accidental Woman is written by Barbara Delinsky. This book is very much a romance/drama.

The main plot of the book is about Heather Malone. She moved to town fourteen years ago and settled down. She’s a kind gentle person that everyone in town loves. She lives with Micah and his two daughters and everything is going smoothly until the FBI shows

up claiming she’s someone else entirely. Then the whole town is turned upside down trying to get to the truth.

A very important side plot is played out by Poppy Blake and Griffin Hughes. Griffin is the one that accidently leaked the news about Heather to his FBI brother, sending the law to Lake Henry and causing all kinds of trouble. Poppy and Griffin met in the last book that was about Poppy’s sister. They had an immediate spark but kept things under wraps because Poppy is in a wheelchair and wasn’t ready to take the next step. Griffin continued to call and try though. After his slip up with his brother he knows the only way he’s going to win Poppy’s heart is by helping solve ...

the problems with her friend Heather.

Heather keeps her past a secret for as long as possible, even to the detriment of her case. Micah can’t believe she’s actually someone else and begins to doubt everything about their lives. There are many plot twist and subtext to the book that make it interesting. The characters are very believable and likable.

      I like the way

Barbara Delinsky wrote the book. It makes you want to keep reading from start to finish. I will definitely go back and find the first book in this series and look forward to reading the next one.

I would recommend this book to anybody that likes romance novels. It doesn’t have a lot of the mushy stuff like Harlequin novels, but it is a love story.
