One of my favorite candy bars is the Salted Nut Roll. The following recipe reminds me of them slightly.

They sort of taste like them, and they are irresisitable.

First you mix the following together: 1 1/2 cups flour, 2/3 cups brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder,

1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon soda, 1/2 cup softened margarine, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 egg yolks.

Bake after pressing into a pan for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Take out of oven and sprinkle with 3 cups mini marshmellows and place in oven for ...

      • a minute or two.

Then in a saucepan combine 2/3 cups corn syrup with 1/4 cup margarine, 2 teaspoons vanilla and a 12 ounce package of peanut butter chips.

Stir constantly until the chips have melted.

Then stir in 2 cups rice cereal and 2 cups salted peanuts.

Spread this mixture over the marshmellows in your pan.

        These bars will delight anyone.

They are super easy to make and taste wonderful.

They are perfect for family get togethers and the pan will disappear in a hurry.

I can never eat just one! They definetely get a 10 from me.
