Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) is an action film from director Alexander Witt and is rated R by the MPAA for non-stop violence, language and some nudity.

The deadly T-virus has been unleashed on the population of Raccoon City. Resident Evil: Apocalypse takes place right after the event of the fist movie. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice,

one of only two survivors of the contained biochemical disaster that broke out in The Hive, The Umbrella Corporation’s top secret underground facility. The film starts right where the first film left off, with Alice in the heart of the destroyed Raccoon City. She has been subjected to biogenetic experimentation and has become genetically altered,

      • with super-human strength and senses. These skills, and more, will be greatly needed if anyone is to make it out of the city alive.

As far as video game sequels go , Resident Evil: Apocalypse is not bad at all. The story isn’t as good as the first one, but it has plenty of action

and a plot that isn’t too bad. The acting isn’t good, but for a horror film, it’s not bad by any means. This one definitely has more humor than the first, which really didn’t have any now that I think about it.

I recommend Resident Evil: Apocalypse to fans of the games and horror fans in general.
