‘The wrong number’ is a book written by R.L.Stine. In the beginning of this book, everything seems to be all right and there is simply no scent of a mystery or adventure. There are two friends, Deena and Jade. They are very good friends and they spend much time with each other. They decide to play

some prank on somebody. They wish to play just innocent pranks, which will cause no harm to anybody. They make romantic phone calls to some boys at school. But Deena’s brother Chuck finds out that they are doing this. He acts as a spoil-sport. He tells them that they should let him in on the fun. Otherwise, he would create trouble. So all of them get together and they have great fun, making phone calls to anonymous people. But one day, Chuck makes a call to someone on Fear Street. And this creates great trouble.Chuck overhears something which makes him tremble with fear. And the other person on the opposite side phone ...

knows that Chuck has overheard. So, Chuck has to be silenced.

Who is the person whom Chuck has called? What did he overhear? What trouble will it cause? You will have to read the book in order to find out.

This is a very interesting book and is scary too. Chuck, Deena and Jade have brought unnecessary

trouble upon themselves. They are afraid about it. They are sure that the person on Fear Street will stalk them unless they find him out and know about it. This book is very good to read and full of mystery. I liked this book much and I will recommend it. I rate this book 9 out of 10 points.
