  • I think this is a great place to enjoy a night out
  • I don't recommend the nachos, to me they taste like cheerios dipped in runny, bitter, partially cheese flavored sauce
  • The rest of the food there though tastes great, in my experience
  • The seating is comfortable, and there usually isn't a problem with severe over crowding, except during certain films, on their opening weekends

This is a great theater, in my opinion. It’s located in the Ralphs shopping center at the corner of Balboa Blvd. and Devonshire St. There’s a Fatburger and a Starbucks near the theater, which are great for pre or post movie watching snacks, coffee, or food. There’s also a Carls Jr. across the street.

Generally speaking, they have all the big block buster movies available to watch, with the last

showing being around 10-11 p.m. There are two snack bars located in the theater, with the bathrooms being upstairs.

The theaters themselves have nice seating, and vary in size. The more popular movies will get the larger, nicer theater space.

For those of you with small children, they have stroller matinees available. You can go to http://www.manntheatres.com/theatres.htm for more information on that.

I think this is a great place to ...

      • enjoy a night out. The theater isn’t so big that it feels overwhelming, but it’s not so small that it feels cramped either. The snack bar is, of course, over priced, but there are free refills available on the large sized sodas and popcorn.

I don’t recommend the nachos, to me they taste like cheerios dipped in runny, bitter, partially cheese flavored sauce. The rest of the food

there though tastes great, in my experience. I especially like the hotdogs and big soft pretzels.

The seating is comfortable, and there usually isn’t a problem with severe over crowding, except during certain films, on their opening weekends. At certain times, like weekdays during the night time or early in the day, you can enjoy a movie with very few others in the theater at all (perhaps even none, but your party).
