Ever heard of the saying, ‘be careful of what you wish for?’ It is happening in this novel, It’s a Kind of Magic by Carole Matthews. I enjoyed reading this novel very much. It is about Emma and Leo, and their almost dying relationship. Leo is getting from bad to worst and Emma just

wish that he would be a better guy in terms of everything.

What not? Because at one function and a truly special one indeed, Leo turns up drunk and fashionably late, and really getting on Emma’s nerves. She really wants Leo to change for the better and in truth, she’s getting pretty sick and tired of seeing ...

      • Leo like that. And that’s just what Emma wishes for, and she gets it! But in the form of Isabel. Apparently, Leo meets Isabel and from then on, Leo starts to change for the better, something that Emma has always hoped for.

There are lots of witty dialogs in the story that I really love

and Leo’s charming and endearing ways will really melt any girl’s heart. The reformed one, that is. And Emma starts to think that she should be really dreaming because what she is wishing for is coming true. So what’s the ending to this story? Do read on and find out. I love it, simply.
