The Fairfield Inn has three floors and is a real lovely place to stay. The outside of the hotel is painted in three different color shades. Starting at the ground floor is a yellow tan, the second floor is more yellow than tan and finally the third floor is pale tan. The pointed areas on the building is also the pale tan. The carport also reflect these colors. The roof of the hotel and the carport is dark blue. The landscaping of the hotel is simple but elegant. The entire picture is not overdone and gaudy, but very tasteful. There is a lot of lawn area which was perfectly manicured. There were several young deciduous trees on the lawn and around the hotel. Around the front of the building were several tall lights. At the bottom of

these lights were several small flower gardens, each one of them with a variety of colorful annuals. Around the building and the carport low cut shrubbery. There was also combinations of colorful flowers close to the shrubs. The parking area at the hotel was large and well lit making it comfortable for people to come in and park late at night.

The lobby was different. The one seating area in the lobby had a floral green carpet. The walls were painted tanish yellow kind of like the sky after a bad thunderstorm. The window treatments were also different. There was a large gold valance with a cranberry colored swag. The curtains were also gold and pulled shut with two rods. The seating area was like a circle of chairs. Each of them was a different

pattern. I didn’t like the way it was put together even though they were all comfortable, clean and decent the colors were just odd. In the corner of the seating area was a television on a stand about 3 feet tall.

Our room was really nice. The walls were painted cream white. The carpeting was dark green with gold lines going through it. The dark wood headboard was attached to the wall and was a foot tall and the width of the bed. The queen bed was really firm, more firm than I would like but it was good for my husband w ho has back problems. There were two dark wood night stands next to the bed. The nightstands had two drawers in them which was handy for a lengthy stay and you don’t want to ...

live out of the suitcase. I stuck my socks in the nightstand. The nightstands each had a wood lamp on it with a black base. The lamp shades were cream white like the wall. One night stand had a telephone on it and the other nightstand had an alarm clock on it. The bed sheets were bright white and the coverlet to the bed was unbelievably beautiful. The background was tan and the design on the coverlet was like a multi colored vine. There were reds, greens, blues, yellows and brown. The bed skirt was dark green. That was really pretty and I tried to replicate it on our bed at home. Over the bed was a gold framed print.

Our room was quite large and there was room to spare. The rest of the bedroom

had a group of lovely colors. Next to the nightstand was red love seat. The loveseat had a dark red background with a combination of red and gold designs on it. It was really comfortable. There was a large coffee table in front of the red sofa. In the corner of the room was an overstuffed chair with an ottoman. The overstuffed chair was red and white paisley, it took a bit of getting used to but fit well in the room. The bathroom had a pale green tiled floor with approximately the same color walls. There was a combination tub and shower in the bathroom. The shower was great it had a large special shower head in it and was the most relaxing shower I just loved it. Nice place to stay and it wasn’t all that expensive.
