The Hampton Inn is really nice place to stay. The hotel is surrounded by lots of greenery. There are deciduous trees and evergreens all over the place. It looks like you are in the middle of a forest. The Hampton has three floors. Te building is basically made of brown brick with tan concrete vertical visual separation areas. The roof of the building is green metal. There is a fairly large carport with a metal roof and the remainder of the carport is the tan concrete used on the rest of the building with large pillars and a pointed roof. The exterior of the hotel and the parking lot are parallel to the building. The parking can get a bit tight. There is lawn again parallel to the parking lot with several really chunky evergreens. The Hampton Inn sign is close to the entry

and has shrubs and mulch around it.

When we walked into the lobby it was really nice and bright. The walls were wallpapered with an unusual design of tan, silver and white. The floor was tan tile and the ceilings were white with recessed lighting. They used lots of silk floral arrangements to decorate the lobby. There was a elegant glass top table with a floral arrangement on top of it. Next to the table was a coffee dispenser. Next to it was the registration desk. The registration area was papered the same as the lobby. The registration desk had a dark wood veneer and a laminate top. There was a antique table lamp on the desk. The registration area had a large clock on the wall.

Our room was nice. As you walk in you see the white walls. The

carpeting was grayish sage green. The large window in the room had a drape and valance which were both very close in color to the carpeting color in t he room. There was an air conditioner under the window. It was extremely quiet. We had a queen sized bed. The bed was very soft and had a really comfortable mattress. It was supportive without being hard. The headboard to the bed was dark, almost a mahogany color. It had a rectangular shape with what looked like crown molding at the top. The quilt on the bed was white. The fabric had a design on it that you could feed and see very easily. It was not chanelle but I would say a variety of it. There was a dark grey pleated bed skirt. On either side of the bed was a night ...

stand which was the same color as t he headboard wood. The nightstands had a phone and alarm clock. Over the night stands were antique lamps which were attached to the wall. Next to the nightstand was a sage green very comfortable cushioned chair. Behind it was a antique floor lamp. On the wall next to the chair was a very modern wood framed print. Against the opposite was a chest of drawers and a work table. These pieces of furniture were also of the dark mahogany color. The chest of drawers had a cable television on it with lots of channels. The multi level chest also had the coffee maker on it and a large wall mirror over it. The work table had a really comfortable cushioned work chair on wheels. There was a wall lamp over the work table. There was
a phone and internet access at the work desk. The room was really nice and it was extremely quiet.

In the morning we went down to the breakfast area. The area had the same wall paper as the lobby and the white ceiling. On the wall by the dispensers were all kinds of black and white framed prints. The cabinets were made of warm chestnut colored wood with a granite countertop. There were 4 tables in the breakfast area. There was green carpeting on the floor. The continental breakfast included lots of different kinds of pastries, donuts, breakfast breads, and muffins. There was a coffee dispenser with 4 different kinds of coffees, tea and hot cocoa. There was all kinds of fruit and single package cereal. They also offered several kinds of juice. There was no way you could have walked away hungry! We enjoyed the stay.
