The Crown Plaza is a very tall hotel. It has about 8 floors. When looking at the hotel from the outside, the hotel is basically concrete which is painted white. The hotel is basically a rectangular building with a flat roof. The Crown Plaza lit letters are high on the top of the building. There is a carport which is attached to the center of the building. As you enter the Crown Plaza property, the entry road takes you to an incline on which the hotel sits. The landscaping around the hotel uses lots of deciduous trees and very few flowers. The Crown Plaza sign is tall and rectangular and is in the center of a flower bed which is constructed of concrete block. The property was extremely well kept and clean. There was lots of parking

      around the hotel.

The lobby area had very pretty colors. The lobby was painted rich gold with a more muted color on the ceiling. The carpeting in the lobby was brown with a multi colored design in it. Behind the registration desk the paint was more muted. They had crown molding and door frames which resembled the registration desk. The registration desk was made of wood and was stained very dark. There was a carpeted stairway which led up to the second floor. The registration desk was right nest to the entry door.

Our room was really nice. The walls were a warm gold color with the carpeting being dark green and black. The window treatment at the end of the room was different but very pretty. The curtains were sheer gold with brick red pulled ...

      • back drapes. The colors gave the room a very warm feeling. We had a king bed which was really comfortable with a pillow top mattress and three sets of pillows. There was one decorative pillow which was brick colored and matched the drape. Then there were two large pillows which were like relaxing pillows for laying on the floor. Then there four regular bed pillows. There was a white quilt on the bed which draped across the bed very nicely. Under the quilt was a gold bed skirt which matched the walls. The headboard on the bed was rectangular and made from red stained wood. On either side of the bed were night stands which were made from the same color wood as the headboard of the bed. Next to the window was a gold cushioned chair
which was so comfortable that I fell asleep in it. There was a chest of drawers in the room and a work table which I used to spread my make up on. The work table had the nicest chair. It was like a rolling office chair but was very stylish. The chair was upholstered gold. Above the work table was a huge mirror. There was a telephone on the table.

This hotel has the best staff on earth. My husband and I had spilled some soda on the bed and it soaked right down to the mattress and the mattress was wet. We let the front desk know what happened and they stripped the bed and we not only got fresh linens, but also a fresh mattress. Besides that, it was all done with a smile. Loved the place.
