  This band is one that has been around for a while, and has a good number of albums under their belt. HIM stands for His Infernal Majesty. Sound kind of dark? Well they are, in a way. Their
  lyrics are, essnetially, love lyrics with dark undertones and themes of eternity. However, the instruments used are ones that are typical of the metal genre. HIM like to refer to their genre as “love metal”, and even have an album by that same name. This is actually a perfect description of their musical sound, its metal with love song lyrics and it works.

  this is a great band, for people who don’t like really hard metal like myself but enjoy a little bit of darkness here and there. ville’s voice is to die for and they do amazing covers as well, including don’t fear the reaper.
