CSI New York Season 2 Episode 12- Wasted

Absolutely loved this episode. Especially the first case. I wonder how the writers manage to think of all these cases. And I wonder how they do the research on all of these themes.

In the first case, the CSI team investigates the death of two models during a high-end

fashion show. One of the models collapses right on the runway. An autopsy shows that she had inhaled ecstasy. The team is confused since it is impossible to smoke ecstasy, the drug burns and does not fume. The second model dies backstage after being violently attacked.

In the other case, a man confesses to murder of his ...

      • doctor. He had the gun and all the evidence to show that he was there and that he had fired the gun. But he does not have the exact knowledge of the scene. So that creates a strange case, instead of proving that he did commit the murder, the team put much effort to prove that
he did not. So it really looks as if they are conducting an investigation in reverse. That kind of makes me wonder. Let’s say you commit a murder and then go to the police to confess and then pretend that you are lying when you confess, will that make them put all their effort into proving you’re innocent?
