When I saw the previews for this new show, I knew instantly that I would be drawn to it. Aside from enjoying Chris Rock’s honest brand of humor, I noticed that several colorful character actors were on

      board for the laughs.

Tichina Arnold and Terry Crews do a wonderful job at portraying many typical Black parents in the early 80’s.

They are “real” and “accessible”, while telling fundamental stories about family issues, and hard times.

it’s quite easy for older adults to relate to his ongoing angst.

      I absolutely love

the music, as it’s a bright representation of the vibes experienced by Black communities nationwide during this time.

I love this show and used to watch a lot of episodes. I think that Chris has a lot of humor in the shows and there are a lot of great fun and entertaining moments and the characters have a lot of humor there’s strength in the characters and “in the show” and what has made it so successful.

I used to watch a lot of episodes too It was a great show and I really enjoyed the way it was written, the jokes were good and the situations Chris found himself to were completely crazy. I loved listening to Chris Rock narrating the story and the kid that played Chris was very funny as well. The characters were amazing and Chris’s best friend reminded me of my own friends when I was in high school. I was a bit of a nerd so I felt this show explained some of the hilarious things that can happen to particular humans. Great show
