The Fairfield Inn is a pleasant place to stay. The outside of the Fairfield is painted butter yellow. The structure has interesting roof lines which extend the length of the building. In the center of the building is the pointed part of the roof with the large bold words of Fairfield Inn which can easily be seen. There are three floors to the Fairfield. When you look from the outside the butter yellow colors gradiate up from dark to a shade lighter as you go from floor to floor. This was really unique. It was done on the carport too only there were narrow segments of different colors going up and down the posts on the carport. The roof to the building and the carport was blue. The carport was not all that large but it was roomy enough for two vehicles. The carport was traditional except for the way the roof slanted. The yard and landscaping around the property was lush and well taken care of. The grass was like a carpet very thick and soft. There were several areas around the hotel that had all kinds of beautiful flowers in beds. Usually, they were around lamp posts or around the carport posts. The flowers were all of different colors and most were

annuals. They had lovely moss roses, which are one of my favorites.

Our room was simple but very comfortable. The walls were white and there was a dark blue green color carpeting in the room. There were two queen beds in the room with a nightstand shelf in between them. The shelf had an alarm clock on it. The headboards were made of a laminate type wood and were just rectangular with no foot board. Between the beds were two lamps which were attached to the wall. They were attached with a brass metal back and the lamp shades were white. Over each bed was a large framed and matted print. They were both a bit pale and the walls really needed color. The beds had bedspreads which extended all the way to the floor. They were very feminine. The bedspreads looked like they had vines running through the fabric. The colors were green, brown and tan. The fabric background was tan. The bed we slept in was very comfortable but the pillows were a bit flat. Thank God there were two extra pillows in one of the drawers in the chest and pillows from the other bed. There was a cushioned blue chair in the corner next to the window with an ottoman.

      • There was a floor lamp behind the chair, which I am sure was designed for reading. The lamps were all brass and looked very pretty in the room since there was no color on the walls. The drapes in the room were simple pull drapes with rods that hung down to pull. The drapes looked new and were very crisp and pleated. When pulled they were able to block the sun easily. There was a small work table against the wall with had a telephone on it. It also had internet access. Next to the work table was a chest of drawers. There was a large mirror over the chest of drawers. The furniture like the chest and the work table were all the same blond color. The television was on a stand and we had quite a few cable channels which is nice at night when you can’t sleep.

The bathroom was painted white with grey white tile on the floor. The sink counter was white with a sink that was under and part of the counter. There was a large mirror over the sink with tulip makeup lights over it. It was really nice for putting on makeup. The hardware which the lights were attached to was brass also and looked very pretty. There were

a wide array of shampoos, conditioners and hand creams available in the bathroom. Whatever the hand cream was, it smelled really nice. There was a combination tub and shower in the bathroom. It was white with a variable spray shower head. There were lots of towels which were extremely thick and soft. The bathroom was extremely clean and fresh so was the bed room.

We went down to the breakfast area for their complementary continental breakfast. The breakfast area was carpeted except for right in front of the cabinets. The carpeting was grey and dark maroon. The tile in front of the cabinets was swirl brown colors. There were probably 7 or 8 round tables in the eating area each with 2 chairs at the table. The walls were painted beige with a white ceiling. There were several framed pictures in the room. The cabinets were gold brown with the dispensing counter above them. There was juice and milk available to drink all day. For breakfast we had a large variety of fruit and several dispensers with different cereal. There loads of pastries, donuts, muffins and breads. There was butter, margarine and a variety of jams and jellies. The breakfast area was clean and there was always plenty of food.

Nice place, I would love to stay here again.
