The Mountain Farm Museum in Gatlinburg Tennessee was very nice. There are walking trails to an authentic Indian camp. There is an old farm house that has been very well maintained. They have a barn with live roosters and working equipment, along with old equipment. There is also a black smiths shop, a water

      shed, an outhouse,and other buildings.

They have vegetable gardens on the grounds that provide vegetables still. There are corn and other things. Also, some very pretty flowers were planted around the out house and with the gardens.

They have plaques telling about the people that lived in the house and how things worked. It’s interesting ...

      • seeing how different things were back in the early 1900’s. I can’t imagine living like they had to.

The grounds are very well maintained and the walking paths are clear. There is even a very nice lake on the grounds that you can walk to. I took quite a few pictures during our tour. I

love nature photography and there were abundant opportunities for photographs at the Mountain Farm Museum.

The Museum is located in the Smoky Mountains right outside of Gatlinburg Tennessee. If you take a vacation there be sure and stop by and see the museum. It’s a great place to take your kids for them to learn a little history.
