Recently I purchased the Lexmark X 1195 all-in-one printer. This is Lexmarks updated version of the X 1185, but without the paper feed defect.

I really like this printer, its ink jet printing is of laser quality, and it prints quickly with very little noise.

My printing has never been smudgy, and

Lexmark lets you manipulate the darkness of your print.

The scanning process is a little slow for my liking, but it does scan to a very high quality level.

It also photocopies really well, but this process can be slow if you have a lot of copying, as you have to ...

      • hand place each piece of paper to be copied.

There is no way to zip it through.

The all-in-one is without a fax capability, but if you don’t need that aspect, buy this printer.

Its light weight, about 10 pounds and I have found the support staff at the Lexmark toll free

number absolutely fabulous to deal with.

This printer is great for my small printing needs, but if you are running a home business I would suggest a different brand, as the ink replacement cartridges,I have found to be quite costly.

Lexmark X 1195 retails for about $70-80 Cdn.

I think its a great printer for the money!

No, no es necesario para utilizar la impresora con los dos cartuchos. Si el cartucho negro o blanco se agota todav a puede funcionar con el otro cartucho.

You can find the manual and other documentation on Lexmark’s website. Enter Lexmark X1195 into the search box and hit enter. Click the support and downloads tab. Then click manuals. You will then see the setup sheet and user guide here.

You are required to push up the upper flap of the machine. Now, put paper on the glass that you see there. Cover it. Now, do as per your requirement. If you want machine to get a photocopy of the given paper, then just press button for photocopy on the control panel. You can also do some tweaking here. If you want it to scan, just press the button for the same after connecting Lexmark with your computer/laptop. You can also get it print a copy from your system.
