  • The Samsung Ace is a phone that I got for my girlfriend when it was released since her other phone had been crashing when surfing the internet and when she took it into the store they were unable to fix it and so I decided to pay the $ 150
  • The keyboard is on the face of the phone below the screen and the keyboard keys are crisp and work better than most phones I have ever used and I found it to be nicely spaces so she did not press the wrong buttons

The Samsung Ace is a phone that I got for my girlfriend when it was released since her other phone had been crashing when surfing the internet and when she took it into the store they were unable to fix it and so I decided to pay the $ 150. 00 with the plan upgrade since she had previously liked the look of a friends Blackjack phone and since they are both made my Samsung they are very similar but the Ace is smaller and more company but at least two inches. The screen is also bigger and has a higher resolution than the blackjack put a worse camera of 1.

3 MP camera while the Blackjack phone has a 2. 0 MP camera which looks a lot better then the

pictures taken with the Ace Phone.

The keyboard is on the face of the phone below the screen and the keyboard keys are crisp and work better than most phones I have ever used and I found it to be nicely spaces so she did not press the wrong buttons. The phone allows you to use the MicroSD slot to insert the memory that you desire which she liked because she enjoys saving vacation pictures and this allows her to do that.

When you turn the phone on you will see a welcome screen and then be sent to the standard home screen which displays the application icons on the top along with your emails, text messages and contacts. On the bottom of the screen you find the windows ...

      • symbol and from here you can navigate though all the features on the phone.

This phone uses Windows Mobile 6 like most phones but it is not touch screen and can only be controlled by the use of the navigation buttons on the top of the keyboard. One of the things that makes this phone special is that this phone runs on both CDMA for Sprint and GSM for all other carriers around the world.

This phone allows you to use your Sprint service but when you are out of the country but this feature is somewhat limited because it does not allow you to use a SIM card from Cingular or T-Mobile which means that you will either need to sign up for a GSM add on with

/> Sprint if you intend to use it out of the country of you can get a SIM card from one of the companies in that country. So, although this is a great feature is could have been better if it was actually unlocked.

Another thing she liked was that it was easy to navigate the menus of this phone and there is a camcorder on the phone which shoots very detailed photos. This phone also has a stereo speaker which will play your Windows Media files which you can store on your phone.

You can also adjust it with the click wheel which made it a lot easier for her to control and use the phone. She loves the phone because it works well and looks good but the features are pretty limited.
