I have to say, I never really understood the fuss over Andy Warhol movies. I saw the film Blood for Dracula the other night.

While the movie sounded good in the description (Dracula is growing old and needs virgin blood to survive); the movie itself was actually one of the most boring films I’ve

      seen in a while.

When I first started watching it, I almost didn’t even make it past the opening credits.

You have Dracula applying dye to his eyebrows and sideburns to make himself seem younger.

That, and the slow crappy music was almost enough to put me to sleep on the couch.

      As for ...

      • the rest of the movie, it was pretty predictable and, at times, kind of disturbing.

You have four girls, all of whom are supposed to be virgins but, since it was filmed in the 1970s, you know at least a couple aren’t.

And, when the handy man rapes the youngest daughter to keep her

from being one of Dracula’s victims; I ended up with this really sick feeling in my stomach.

I usually like vampire movies, regardless of how bad they really are.

But, this is a film I can’t recommend to anyone.

It’s just that terrible and you can bet I won’t be watching any more Andy Warhol movies for a while.
