The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

There are not many people out there who have not at least heard of Dan’s Brown controversial novel The Da Vinci Code. One single book has managed to captivate the attention of so many people- many have been puzzled by it, intrigued or have become very angry.

      The book

is a mystery detective story that takes its characters across Europe, and two thousand years back in history. Robert Langdon, an expert in ancient symbols need to find out who had murdered a curator at the Louvre museum and why, before the police catches on to him. He is on the run because he ...

      • is the main suspect in the curator’s death. He is joined by Sophie, the curator’s granddaughter, who believes in his innocence.

While they do it they discover and existence of an ancient secret society guarding the knowledge of the existence of the holy grail. The holly grail in this story is not just the vessel-

it is a woman. This woman is Jesus’ wife. And explains why there are so many who are angry at Dan Brown.

If the story were to be true, that would question many truths in Christianity. Despite using real facts in the story, the conclusion at which Dan Brown arrives if completely fictional and cannot be proven.

        Great story nonetheless.
