Dangerous Love is a very dated book that I recently read. I first read the book when I was a lot younger and it was nearly two decades ago when I first read the book. It follows two identical twin sisters Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield and their group of friends. In this

book Elizabeth is dating a boy named Todd who buys a motorcycle. The twins had a cousin who died in a motorcycle accident and they promised never to get on a bike. When other girls start riding with Todd, Elizabeth gets jealous and ends up riding on the bike herself, with very ...

This entire book is like a public service announcement on why teenagers shouldn’t ride or own motorcycles. It’s one thing to have a character never seen or referenced before or again die in an accident, but then to have one of the main characters nearly die herself is a little

much. I know people who have motorcycles and never get in an accident and people who nearly die every time they step into a car.

I also think the book seems dated especially in reference to clothing, music, and cars. It’s pretty easy to see why this book is out of print today.
