  • I don't think there's a single guy left in the world that would hang around that long unless he only wanted to be her friend or there was something else going on
  • I know a lot of people and no one would behave like the people in this book

Rematch is the sequel to a little chick lit book called Miss Match by the same author. The book follows a single Christian girl who is prone to matching her friends with other people. This time though she’s shocked to find that her date is going on a retreat for singles, her best friends

are falling in love with each other, and she might even be falling in love herself. All that makes her a little different in this book than in the first one.

I didn’t like this book as much as I liked the first one, mainly because of the relationship between the main character Laurie ...

      • and her friend Ryan. The two pretended they were dating in the first book and in this one they are still together, but he’s the only one who seems to realize it’s a relationship. Plus they’ve been together for at least six months, but they still haven’t kissed. I don’t think there’s a single
guy left in the world that would hang around that long unless he only wanted to be her friend or there was something else going on.

The book is completely unrealistic, even for a group of Christians. I know a lot of people and no one would behave like the people in this book.
