Written by Jane Bierce, Funny Business is a real good book and I find it very delightful reading. This is a story about the character called Meg Buffington and she is someone that is really interested in doing business. She tries her best to, while during nights, she performs at a comedy club.

And fate has it that Curtiss Edmunds, is amongst one

of the audience watching her performance one night. He is a financial planner and pretty new to Tampa, the area that Jane lives and is working her comedy nights on. And Curtiss is the type of man that is so serious and very focused in career. One look at Jane’s performance and he thinks it is silly and certainly not funny.

      • And the next morning, Jane goes for an interview for the post of Office Manager and she was so shocked when Curtiss revealed that he knows Jane’s stints at the comedy nights. And he gives her a choice. If he offers her a position, she is not to work at the comedy club anymore.

That is where the funny part comes.

Will Jane succumb to her new boss words or would she still persistently go for comedy night stints in the club. This is a rare novel featuring a woman character. Usually, I would come across a man doing comedy nights, and it is refreshing to know that a woman is in charge of this novel. A great comedy novel, I highly recommend it.
