If you have ever been unlucky enough to suffer from a hand injury then you know that it is very difficult to make progress with the way that your bones heel and this transition from having a broken or damaged hand into being able to help something is one that often takes a very long time and almost seems like it will never come when you find yourself not being able to recuperate as well as you would like. Several years ago my grandmother was riding her bike to the beach and she had bit a pot hole in the road and this bump results in her losing her balance and being thrown off the bike. She was in extreme pain and she was rushed to the hospital.

It turns out that her hand was broken and the nerves in her hand were badly damaged.

She spoke with the doctor who reset her hand and he told her that it was his opinion that she would never be able to regain the feeling in her hand that she had once so easily taken for granted.

She was devastated because she was not able to use her left hand to function and since she was now being told that her right hand would never be the safe she felt like her life was going to change drastically. Well one day she went to church in hopes of finding some help and she prayed about the situation.

She told a friend of hers (who was a nun at the church) about what the doctor had said and the sister said that she was told the same thing years back but that she had found this medicine ball at a local shop and ...

      • it proved the doctor wrong. She felt so bad that she had given her medicine ball that helped her to my grandmother and suggested that she do hand exercises each day by rolling the ball around in her hand for ten minutes, then tossing the ball up about an inch and trying to fasten her finger around the ball for a period of fifteen minutes a day.

Additionally she spent 10 minutes a day rolling the ball around her hand to capture the energy of the ball to use it toward her healing. I thought this was a bit weird but she did the same exercises every day.

Even in times when she felt like she could not find the strength to do it she would use the ball in hopes of making progress. She called the nun and told her how difficult it was

for her and the lady said that it would be hard but it would get easier in time.

I don’t know that it got easier for it and despite how hard it was she did the same hand exercises every day and a year later she was able to fully use her hand again. She now had the ability to grip a pen and write a letter which she was unable to do since her accident.

The exercises worked well and the energy within the ball did seem to help her, she did make progress little by little but in the end she was able to regain the feeling in her hand and her independence. She had proven the doctor wrong and she went back to tell him how she had done it and he was amazed, clearly this is a product that works very well to heal.
