This clause of the court system is a flawed as anything can get. I agree that it is unjust to try or prosecute someone for the same crime twice, but that just leaves an opening for someone to commit a crime and get away with it.

Take this movie for example, husband frames wife ...

      • for murdering him, she get arrested and charge for the murder of her husband, goes through the trialing ordeal of the court system, trying to get off the charges as she knows that she is innocent. Now if the court system should fail to put her behind bars, remember the phrase…”hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”, she plans to go after herlying husband
with lethal intent for the anguish he caused her. And if she kills him, there is no way she can be arrested and charged for a crime that she already got acquitted for.

A magnificent look at the law and how it can both work for you and against you, where majority of the time, it is so corrupted that it is designed to work against you.
