Run by Snow Patrol is an emotionaly lifting piece as it starts in a minor tone(sad) and gets major(happy) and repeats the phrase “Light up Light up”.

The guitar in the piece gets tedious as it seems to keep playing the same note over and over again from the middle to the end.The lyrics also get a little

      repetitive.

Like most Snow Patrol pieces it is touching as the singer has a good melocaly sad voice.

Initialy hearing the piece reading the piece it sounds like the sort of song that you could go to sleep to at night or to listen to cheer you up when you are feeling down but after a while the repeated ...

      • guitar notes and lyrics become like the famous Chinese drip torture - they tie you down comepletely and allow a little drip of water to fall in the same place every few seconds and you can’t itch. The song becomes like that after hearing it a few times so I now little to it very rarely -
which, evidently, is why I havn’t written much for this particular piece. I listened to it once then couldn’t stand to do it again. This piece can be torture. Not Snow Patrols best song.
