  • I opened the pack and noticed the generous amount of cookies in the bag
  • As pictured on the bag, each cookie is a square of cake with delicious strawberry filling
  • I enjoy these cookies with coffee in the afternoon, but they would also be ideal with a cold glass of milk, served as an afterschool snack for the kids
  • The cost would be slightly higher at a regular supermarket, but for the superb taste and generous quantity of cookies in each package, in my opinion it's well worth the price

I’ve always been a fan of Nabisco Fig Newtons cookies, so when I spotted a package of Nabisco Strawberry Newtons Fruit Chewy Cookies on the grocery store shelves, I knew I had to try them. I purchased a 12 oz package of Strawberry Newtons and took them home to enjoy at lunch.

Strawberry Newtons come in a resealable package which

keeps the cookies from becoming stale. I opened the pack and noticed the generous amount of cookies in the bag. As pictured on the bag, each cookie is a square of cake with delicious strawberry filling. I liked the moist, chewy quality of the cake, and the real strawberry filling inside each cookie tasted delicious (not too sweet, but ...

      • just right). Each cookie is smaller than shown on the packaging, and I wished the size of each cookie had been a bit larger.

Strawberry Newtons are great with a sandwich at lunch, and they make a terrific snack for school lunches. I enjoy these cookies with coffee in the afternoon, but they would also be ideal with a

cold glass of milk, served as an afterschool snack for the kids. I find the price very reasonable also: I purchased Nabisco Strawberry Newtons for $2.75 at a discount grocery store. The cost would be slightly higher at a regular supermarket, but for the superb taste and generous quantity of cookies in each package, in my opinion it’s well worth the price.
