Clueless, a hit movie about teenagers more than a decade ago, was one of my favorite movies as a teenager. This movie was shown at a perfect timing for me as a teenager myself during the 90’s. Its main character, Cher, played by Alicia Siverstone, could be a good role model to the youth of any generation because she is portrayed as a young, rich girl from Beverly Hills who is beautiful inside and out.

This movie is super entertaining with no dull moments. My eyes are glued to each and every scene, watching intently on how Cher moves, talks and dresses.

      She and her best

friend Dione, played by Stacey Dash, has so many things in common. They are popular, beautiful, rich, sophisticated, has cool clothes -and they like to do good deeds to people around them.

They gave this new girl in school, Tai, a total makeover, made her hang out with them, and made her a popular girl herself. Cher and Dione also matched two loveless school teachers -successfully! Anyone can think that Cher has everything and could not ask for anything more.

      • frightening experience driving recklessly in the highway. She realized she wanted a boyfriend of her own.

She tried to flirt with a handsome classmate who turned out to be gay and wanted just a platonic relationship with her. It turns out that the love of her life was with her all along when she realized she was in love with her stepbrother played by Paul Rudd.

I think that Silverstone gave justice to the character and portrayed it well since she confessed that she’s really not into fashion and boys in real life. The way she played the character was unbelievably natural.

        In the movie, I think

many teenagers can relate to some of the characters. It was also a relief that though perfect as Cher seems to be, she also has her share of flaws.

It was not a breeze finding herself a boyfriend, and she was frustrated to be unable to drive. The movie showed that she was encountering troubles of her own.

Not only Cher should be credited for good portrayal of her role. All the other supporting roles, especially Dione and Tai, were convincing too.

I would definitely recommend this funny and entertaining movie to anyone in their teens. Even as a young adult now, I still enjoy watching this movie.
