A Beautiful Mind is a movie based on the biography of a famous mathematician John Nash, a genius and a Nobel Prize winner, who most of his adult life has been suffering from schizophrenia. However, the film is only

      loosely based on Nash’s life.

Many more controversial events and troublesome issues, like for example Nash’s alleged bisexuality and adultery, are omitted.

I guess, this is because Hollywood wouldn’t be able to digest the life of a real person, it always has to beautify it a little being so afraid that the audience wouldn’t buy it.

Anyway, let’s forget that the film is about a real man.

Still, it’s quite a good picture with a captivating and well ...

told story of the man who is forced to fight and finally manages to defeat a dangerous mental disorder.

What is really great abot this movie is a fantastic role of Russel Crowe, who demonstrates all his skills and

talents creating a convincing and lively character.

No wonder then that he received an Academy Award for this role.

Ed Harris, playing a sinister secret agent, one of Nash’s dellusions, is also really marvellous.

Concluding, the film is worth seeing even few times.
