  • Why would they stick him in meaningless, pointless and boring storylines instead of letting him showcase his obvious and amazing array of moves
  • Nowadays however I have noticed that they are turning AJ back babyface after a long tenure of storylines and character development
  • AJ Styles has undergone major character development in TNA Wrestling and has since gained much more charisma on the microphone, combine this with the skills he had before, and in my opinion, you have the next big thing in sports entertainment

If like me you are a long time and long term fan of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, you will be very familiar with the fact that the man known as AJ Styles was TNA’s first legitimately home grown main event superstar, being the first ever wrestler in the companies short history to hold the TNA World Heavyweight, World Tag-Team and World X-Division Championships engaging in memorable feuds along the way with the likes of Jeff Jarrett, Vince Russo and his Sports Entertainment Xtreme faction, The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, Homicide, Raven, Petey William, Rhino, Chris Sabin, The Total package Lex Luger, The Icon Sting and many, many more top talent names in the sport of professional wrestling.

Naturally, from the start of his TNA Wrestling tenure, AJ Styles was pushed straight to the top under the management and schooling techniques of the likes of Jerry Lynn, Mortimer Plumbtree and the Living Legend Larry Zbyszko. AJ Styles in his own right is a physically and mentally gifted athlete and simply

one of a kind in his moveset and wrestling capabilities, being able to pull out moves and maneuvers that many and the majority of professional wrestlers could not even dream of pulling off. Yes, this is indeed the main event, the phenomenal AJ Styles.

However, as the years went on, AJ Styles is no longer a main event superstar in total nonstop action wrestling. He is stuck floundering around in storylines with Kurt Angle over Angle’s wife Karen instead of putting on show-stealing matches in the X-Division that he became a famous house hold name for. Is this the AJ Styles we remember? Is this the AJ Styles we want? What does TNA management have to justify for this? What does TNA management have to say for this and what will TNA management do about this? The answer is simple. They will do nothing. AJ Styles is being held back because TNA insists on taking already established talent from the World Wrestling Entertainment and pushing them straight to the top instead ...

      • of pushing their own home grown talent and main eventers, the people who GOT them to where they are in the first place, such as AJ Styles.

Yes, it certainly is no secret that the way AJ wrestles, his career could very well be cut sort. Despite this, he has never suffered a serious career threatening injury and he has never failed to put on a show stealing matchup in the main event when given the chance. So why would TNA suddenly drop him from the main event? Why would they stick him in meaningless, pointless and boring storylines instead of letting him showcase his obvious and amazing array of moves? We may never know.

My personal opinions on the subject vary from one to another. Back in the day in 2002 and onwards, AJ Styles was famous for his in-ring wrestling prowess, but on the microphone, he was not very good. His personality was that of a cocky man who knew he was that damn good, which worked well, but when

he started to get over and they turned him babyface, that is where his personality started to lack, because AJ did not have the charisma of a babyface competitor. Nowadays however I have noticed that they are turning AJ back babyface after a long tenure of storylines and character development. This raises yet another question in my mind, will AJ styles be back in the main event?

AJ Styles has undergone major character development in TNA Wrestling and has since gained much more charisma on the microphone, combine this with the skills he had before, and in my opinion, you have the next big thing in sports entertainment. AJ was the closest thing to a total package BEFORE his character development if you ask me, now, if he can add charisma and character to his obvious talent, further personifying him as the phenomenal one, can anyone really stop this showcase of a performer?

If you want to see exactly what I mean, be sure to tune into TNA iMPACT! Lets go AJ!
