I’m not really a big fan of Will Smith but I must admit he gives the performance of his career in this movie (even better than his portrayal of Ali). He was worthy of the Oscar nomination he received.

Directed by Gabriele Muccino, The Pursuit of Happyness is the true story of Chris Gardner (Will Smith), a down on his luck family man struggling to make ends meet.

Because of financial difficulties his wife (Thandie Newton) decides to leave him.

his son got kicked out of their apartment and soon found themselves homeless.

Although having a really difficult time, Chris continues to strive for his son and is able to overcome all the obstacles in his path and eventually gets accepted in the brokerage

The on-screen rapport between Will Smith and his son is amazing and the movie is heart-warming and inspirational.

It makes you realize that you can achieve anything you want if you put your mind and soul to it.

This is one movie everybody should see.
