I am reviewing the basketball movie, Glory Road, starring Josh Lucas. There’s a basketball coach. He teaches girls.

Then one day he is offered a job to teach in Texas. It is the 1960s.

He decides to get a group of African American players together

and form a team. Not many people agree with his decision.

They are downright angered and confused by his decision. His team has a hard time getting along too.

They are all caught up in the times, and don’t know what to expect from this white coach. Especially in Texas.

Lucas’ character knows what he is doing, and refuses to back down, despite the responses he gets from the public. He coaches his team and through teamwork, helps them become better and successful as a team.

      They come together ...

and fight the discriminations of the world through the game of basketball. They play against several teams and face several obstacles along the way.

This does not prevent them from becoming a successful, hard working team. This movie is good.

It reminds me a lot of Coach

Carter, with a few exceptions. The acting is good and the drama is good.

I like true story movies. They are always very interesting and inspiring.

Josh Lucas does an excellent job as the coach. If you’re looking for a good, down to earth, enjoyable movie, then check out Glory Road.
