I am reviewing the movie Stigmata, starring Gabriel Bryne. So there is this girl named Frankie. She cuts hair.

One day she receives a rosary from her mother. This rosary has power.

Soon, Frankie finds herself experiencing Stigmata, or the wounds of Christ at his cruxifiction. She becomes possessed at times, and asks for a priest by name.

Soon, that very priest shows up at the hair salon. He is intrigued at what she has to tell him and show him.

She takes him through what she has gone through already, including the wounds through her wrists and being whipped across the back. As time goes on, she experiences more.

      The priest is there ...

      • to help her every step of the way though. Is it really stigmata? Is there anyone who can help Frankie? Is the priest her only way to safety? Will she die? Will she overcome this?

        I like this movie.

I am a huge Gabriel Bryne fan and so I had to see this film. It is a little ironic that

he plays the devil in another movie, but that is besides the point.

He does an excellent job at whatever he is asked to portray. This movie is extremely interesting.

The whole movie leaves you sitting on the edge of your chair. What will happen next? If you’re looking for a creepy, interesting movie, I would definitely check out Stigmata.
